VSCO A Series: Analog/ Aesthetic Walkthrough
This is the second of my VSCO Cam walkthrough series- the first one looked at the G series: Portraits presets. These days I find myself using the A6 preset as my go-to for everyday photos.

A4 preset
A4 preset gives you a bit of a slight fade, desaturation, and warm sepia toning to the midtones and shadows- giving it a warm mellow faded photograph look. It increases the richness and depth of browns.
A5 preset
A5 preset uses a medium fade and a noticable blueish magenta cast to shadows and midtones. Shadow details are crushed and midtones are contrasty. A cool look for photojournalist style pictures, not always flattering for portraits.
A6 preset
I love the skin tones the A6 Analogue/Aesthetic preset gives in portraits, the warmth and richness it gives to browns, and clean minimalist feel it gives to an image because of the light desaturation and the fact that some of the highlight details are crushed and light colours are shifted towards pure white.
A6 is my favourite Analogue/Aesthetic preset and the one that I have been using the most lately. I'll be going into more detail in the next post about the A6 preset style and how to get the look in Lightroom 5.
