Natural Light Family Portrait: Ryan, Alayna, Lachlan
We paid a visit to our dear friends and their new bub last weekend in Brisbane- it had been about a year and a half since the last time we caught up in Melbourne.
I learnt something interesting about houses in Queensland during my visit. The traditional 'Queenslander' home is raised off the ground with wooden stumps, and there are usually lots of windows throughout- often left wide open. This means that houses are often airy and have beautiful natural light. Ryan and Alayna's house was exactly that, and a portrait photographer's dream.
They are also all ridiculously good looking. Lachie the blue-eyed toddler looks like he stepped straight out of a Huggies commercial.
